Facebook Flips the Switch – the Good, the Bad and the Annoying

In the middle of updates touting facial recognition for photos, Facebook has managed to sneak in another update, a change to the layout of Pages across the network. You might recall about a month or so ago when people were complaining about what happened when they decided to merge their Facebook Place with their Page. I guess Facebook is of the mind that misery loves company, because they’ve now leveled the playing field and unrolled the new Page layout to everyone, removing that illusion of “choice.” Continue reading

Hypochondriacs Beware: New Ad Campaign with Symptoms

I once saw Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy act when he was in town – an experience worth a blog post of its own. One of his rants centered on how our lives and general well-being are directly connected to our cell phone batteries.
