Getting Closer to Zambia

Rebranding a nation. It’s a dream job, and we got it! Well, not exactly, but we still had fun participating in Zambia’s call for entries to rebrand their country as a marketable tourist destination.

Know anything about Zambia? It is an eco-tourist’s dream destination with a wealth of adventure activities like safaris, whitewater rafting and bungee jumping. Zambia also has a softer side — a rich network of luxury hotels and resorts. Oh, and it’s home to Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world! The more we learned about Zambia, the more amped we got to win the grand prize of a 15-day safari for a winning tagline or logo.

But, win or lose, we had a great time imagining what the new Zambia could become. We even had a little help from a friend and native Zambian, David Simfukwe. It was a true agency effort that got our creative juices flowing and unleashed some wild creativity. Now that the contest is closed, it is time to reveal the results. Our three entries below:
